Our Dream has Become a Reality

Thank you for stopping by to see who we are and what we do. My name is Amanda Bennett, and I’d like to share the story of Lifts & Gifts with you. It’s a story of a dream coming true.

Several years ago, my mom was in senior living nearly a day’s drive away. I called every day, sent gifts, and visited when I could—but it never felt like enough. I knew that she needed both encouragement and reminders that she was not forgotten. The gifts I ordered often arrived wrapped in impossible tape and were often difficult for her to open. I kept searching for a better way to send her gifts, reminding her that she was still thought of and remembered every day. I never found what I was looking for, but the thought stayed with me.

I started dreaming of a simpler way: one beautiful, easy-to-open box each month, filled with thoughtful, encouraging items that would make moms and grandmothers smile and know that they were much loved and remembered. I began laying the groundwork for my idea, and eventually shared it with my daughter, Katie. She always put together such fun gifts for Mom, and she loved everything that Katie brought to her. When Katie heard about my gift box idea, she instantly understood the vision, and together, we have created Lifts & Gifts. The dream has become a reality. 💕

The mission of Lifts & Gifts is to help you show up for your mom or grandmother – even when distance keeps you apart. Each month, we will ship a carefully curated box to her, bringing comfort, joy, and a gentle reminder of your love.

It has been so exciting to see all that Katie has carefully put together to bring spring in with a bright and colorful collection. As we prepare to pack and ship this collection, we are thinking of the smiles yet to come when the boxes are opened. 

It’s more than a subscription. It’s connection, care, and reassurance, delivered month after month. Katie is already busy planning for the next three boxes, and she is developing some fantastic collections.
